"It's not about perfection. What's a perfect painting?" - Peter Doig

Doig's experience in art led him to study at 3 prestigious institutions: Wimbledon School of Art, Saint Martin's School of Art and Chelsea School of Art. Perhaps, thanks to his years of study, he took up the office of professor at the Fine Arts Academy in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Although his work took him a great many places, he ultimately chose to settle down on the island of Trinidad to relax and focus on his art.

Doig's many paintings tend to be slightly abstract landscapes, especially in snow.
