Silence is Sliced in SYML's New Instrumental Tune "Girl"

Odd Nugget Social-done

This, a track as elegant as soft snow... "Girl" drops keys, delicate as snowflakes, freshly fallen and picturesque, cast as far as the eye can see.

Strings, keys and a chorus of echoes cover us up and whisk us away.

Can wind whip through you?

Can longing loom, iridescent, over all?

Can a ghost life, left behind, live on in...

You? Can a soul be split in two?

Odd Nugge-done

"Girl" is graceful... Thought-laiden notes come in, nuanced and neat, then step into a gallop. Emotions outpace patterns, pushing "Girl" from calm composure to outward exuberance.

A great many songs have lots of elements and little substance. "Girl" starves itself of elements and drowns itself in substance. Two instruments alone comprise the bulk of it, but they both build such a world around you as to seem infinite in number.

You might not listen to much piano music, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying this gorgeous track. Listen for just a moment and you'll want to hear more.
