Writing/Methods (zaibatsu), 01/18/2019
------------------------------------------------------------
User bradfonseca recently explored the concept of offline
writing in chunks[1]. I *think* leveck has played with this
a little[2] with his work travel, and possibly other users
that I can't recall immediately. I've done it in the
smallest way, by writing on some other device and uploading
it later- but, I've never done multiple days worth.
The idea has merit in my mind, for a few potential reasons:
it could be used as a method to reduce online time; it could
be used as a method to capitalize on otherwise wasted bits
of time; and, it could be used as a method to create content
with particular qualities that come from constraint.
For my part, I'm often looking for things that will help me
decouple from the computer (the first step is admitting that
I have a problem.) I'm going to keep this in my back pocket,
since it provides an interesting means that doesn't rob me
of the job of writing for gopher.
