Never really got to like

  Never really got to like Perl. It felt like chaos, archaic. Can't tell

  exactly why. But to be honest, I never *really* used it (shame on me).

  Now, I'm willing to force myself to use Perl more often.

    1.  It's available almost everywhere.

    2.  It's fast. Well, at least faster than shell scripting. ;-)

    3.  It doesn't enforce a particular style.

  We'll see.
