weather
Weather remains the only problem to be considered so far.
A 30 to 40 percent chance of rain tonight and tomorrow
morning has been forecast. If the external tank is loaded
and rain falls on it, ice could develop which would threaten
the tiles. But officials are hoping to launch tomorrow as
there is more bad weather ahead later in the week. Also,
crosswinds in excess of 12 mph at the abort runway at Cape
Canaveral would force postponement of the flight. Engle
and Truly say they want to fly tomorrow, ``even if it means
sitting in the cockpit until noon.''
