Richard Reti's chess problem
I believe that the famous problem by Richard Reti is the
problem reproduced below; however, the problem literature
is so large that it is possible that Reti composed both
problems. The theme of this problem is so similar to that
of the problem given in the previous news article as to be
considered an "anticipation" by modern problemist standards,
although the standards at that time might not have been
quite so strict. The problem given in the net article
has the pieces rearranged so that the theme is identical
although somewhat more lengthy (presumably to make it
harder for the computer's search).
