Monolink's New Track Will "Swallow" You
Contents

Muted bass building to soft-sung tribal ecstasy; that's Monolink's "Swallow" in a nutshell.
Thank Burning Man's desert scene for Monolink's singular style. This singing Berliner's been inspired in the best of ways.
Bristling pops of sound crackle throughout "Swallow" - nestling into the groove like wind-swept sand over a canyon of cool.
"Went into a dream of echoed voices from the deep..."
The dust won't settle. All around you is dust now.
Lights and machines sweep the messy air. Specks of sand sparkle like snowflakes.

A flame leaps up at the sky. An attempt on the stars?
A mass of wood glows orange behind the heat - awaiting ashen rebirth.
"Like the dark swallows the light..."
The beat is heavy. The moon is full. Swallow is hollow with echoing atmosphere. Swallow is deep with poetic reflection.
Desert trance - interweaving the click of the tribesman's drum, the grunge of the the guitarist's dusty amp and the self-directed song of the soothsayer... Monolink has outdone himself.
It's easy to lose yourself in this track. It's an experience, for sure.
It's right in line with the best of ravers' delights. Not a raver? Not a problem. Step into the dust.
