Ghost Stories and Books of the Other Kind - Odd Nugget
Ever wonder why Oujia boards work? Or, maybe if dyslexic ghosts have trouble understanding them?
Ever wonder why lofty, big city apartments never seem to have any roving spirits or ghost ladies lingering around in them?
Ever wondered if superstions such as bad smells heralding beings from beyond the grave are simply diversions offered up by someone who just farted?
Well, I wouldn't know how to answer any of those questions - especially that last one - but you might learn a thing or two from the stories below...
Ok, fine, none of these stories answer those questions - especially not that last one!
Ghost of You
"I'm not the one who can see ghosts" "I'm not the one who is a ghost" "That was actually really hurtful" "Aww I'm sorry, wait I don't actually care" "You're so mean- do it more"
In which a girl has the ability to see the tortured soul of a sarcastic 19 year old from 1865. He's charming, incredibly hot, has seen decades fly by and managed to keep up to date with today's news.
Just one problem, he's dead and currently loves to annoy the hell the only person that can see, hear and sort of touch him. But more on that later ;) Copyright @tavanalee
It turned 2 a.m. and a crying ghost lady was beside my window
One night when it was 2 a.m., I could heard a lady crying from the street. She was bawling her eyes out and even today it really makes me sad every time I remember her crying.
Sadly, here in Mexico is a common occurence hearing these poor ladies crying because of some sort of mistreatment from her lovers or family members. So, at first I also thought it was common to hear her, albeit this event continued to happend every single night at the same exact hour ,and the bawling sounds kept on getting closer and closer. One night it woked me from sleep and it didn't calmed down until I prayed for this lady's and my own soul.
Sometimes I would dream of her crying and levitating in my laundry room. She kept on coming closer and closer until I could hear her bawling right beside my ear. I searched for help and then I was told to ask my recently dead grandma to show her the way to heaven. And you know what? Back then it was almost the Day of the Death. So, when our faithful departed came to visit us, I served my late grandma her favorite milk coffe on the offering and I asked her for the latter.
That night I could feel her soft patting my back as I fell asleep.

My Resident That Can Predict Things Called Me A Ghost
Sorry if this doesn’t apply here it just freaked me out a little. My resident who has predicted things before like my coworkers pregnancy and a few other major events at my facility told me I’m a ghost today. She’s not very good with names and often calls people whatever she wants. Today while doing her care she asked me my name which she never does and when I told her it she said “no it’s not”. I said what do you mean and she said “you’re a ghost honey”.

Theories on ghosts.
If ghosts aren't the spirits of people or demons, what could they be in your opinion? I believe they could either be the small amounts of electricity in your brain getting pulled into the house some how, or maybe they're invisible/inter-dimensional beings. Both of which may explain how they're able to make objects move?
I'm not a big beliver in anything supernatural, or in religions. But for some reason I can't shake the feeling that I'm being watched and followed sometimes, along with a few occurances from my childhood where some doors were slammed shut in the middle of the night. One example being when I was at my best friends house sleeping over, and out of no where a shelf fell off the wall, so we run upstairs and their bedroom door slams behind us, causing a coat hanger to flip off the door and smack the older brother in the head, so we ran to get under the covers (we were about 8-10 and 10-12 at the time so we thought it would help lol) and instantly once we got to the beds their attict door swung open and slammed shut. These houses were about 100 years old at the time, now about 120ish, and York City PA which had some civil war involvement, but otherwise was a nice town until the 1990s. Not sure why I felt the need to add the story, but f* it lol
